eVisa to Kuwait for US Citizens

Many countries in the Gulf region are quite similar. However, there are some countries which have unique things to offer. Kuwait is one of those countries, but it is not as popular as the United Arab Emirates when it comes to tourism.

Even then, it has a number of rich traditions, and there is considerable wealth in the region as well. There is a sort of competition that goes on between the Gulf countries when the wealth is concerned. If you are a US citizen, you will find that the country has quite a lot to offer and all you require is an e-visa to Kuwait for US citizens to enter the country.

When you are in Kuwait, you will find that there is a lot borrowed from its neighboring countries, since most of its population consists of immigrants. In the West, the Gulf countries are generally viewed as active war zones full of terrorists. This perspective is entirely wrong, and there is much more to the country of Kuwait than what is represented by the media.

Why Visit Kuwait?

Even though the country of Kuwait does not promote tourism actively, it has a lot to offer. You will not meet any licensed guides in the country, and there are not many sights that you can visit in the country. However, in the age of globalization, we should take advantage of open borders and remember that every country has something unique to offer. Here are some of the things that you will find in Kuwait that will make you fall in love with the country:

  1. Lavish Buffets: When you are staying at a hotel in Kuwait, you will find that the breakfasts, lunches and dinners have quite lavish and luxurious buffets that will amaze you. There are different cuisines like Lebanese, Indian, Pakistani, Arabic and much more which are available at these buffets.

You will not feel left out even if you are on a visa to Kuwait from New York since there are different cuisines from the West as well, such as an omelet station at breakfast. You can even order waffles and soup when you are having breakfast at any hotel in Kuwait. In many hotels, there is a separate section for kids, where they can enjoy finger foods like chicken nuggets and donuts.
  1. A Change in Perspective: Like many other Gulf countries, you will have the perspective of a violent country regarding Kuwait as is presented by the media in the west. However, when you visit the country of Kuwait, you will notice that it is not at all true. The people of the country are, in fact, quite helpful when it comes to guiding tourists to the places that they want to visit.

During your visit, you may also come across locals who would drop you at your hotel if you are unable to find a taxi. This warm and welcoming nature of the locals is not something that can be found even in the United States of America. It is a breath of fresh air to visit Kuwait since you will be able to form an entirely new perspective of the country.
  2. The Unique Fish Market: There are fish markets in many coastal cities all over the world. However, when you arrive in the markets of Kuwait, you will see something that is unlike anything in the world. The fishermen will shout their throats out until they have emptied all their buckets and sold all the fish.

The sold fish are then packed into different packages and shipped out in trucks. One thing that you have to remember when you are visiting the fish markets is that you should always wear waterproof shoes since there is a lot of stagnant water in these markets.
  3. Lavish Lifestyle: While the places like Saudi Arabia and UAE are quite famous all over the world for their lavish lifestyles, Kuwait is not far behind. There are many families which have accumulated quite a lot of riches over the years. The Kuwaiti Dinar is the highest valued currency in the world today, and with its strong backing, it is likely going to stay the same for the years to come. The country is small but the life is quite comfortable in it.

If you get the chance, you should try to connect with the locals as it will provide you with some of the most important network in the world. There are many families which own palaces and other luxuries like private jets and supercars. There are many immigrants who work in the country solely for the money in it.
